Now I'll be racking by brain to think of my own clever six word bio. I looked at the trailer of the DQ book. I love that scene from Waiting for Guffman with the career DQ girl. I love that movie.
My teenage friends hung out at the local dairy freeze (I've forgotten it's real name. It wasn't Dairy Queen.) Of course, there wasn't much else to do in our small Texas town of 4,000. Sometimes we would go to the big city of Tyler, Tx. and see who was hanging out at the Derrick Drive-In eatery. Where do kids hang out and visit nowdays? I'm so sorry that I'll miss meeting Susan and your party. I haven't started the book yet, but I hope I get the chance to get my copy to you so that Susan can sign it for me.
