We are readers who love to travel. We make time to travel to a 'literary' destination each summer as well going to plays, movies, and exhibits together. Our group came together by way of our favorite book, the Bible, and our relationships at church. We read almost any kind of book, even some once banned books (like the Bible). Our motto could be 'so many books and places; so little time.'

I believe I will read "The Man Who Made Vermeers: Unvarnishing The Legend of Master Forger Han van Meegeren."
Cindy, please tell me some you are considering. I haven't chosen one yet.
I picked up one at the library on Benjamin Franklin. However, I have one on Shaun Alexander (former Alabama football player who went to the pros) that I bought last fall and still haven't read. A friend gave me a copy of Up From Slavery, which is actually an autobiography. I also have the 3 Frank McCourt books that I need to read as well as Because of Romek, written by a concentration camp survivor. I'll have to decide soon, but until I do, I'll have to keep reading my murder mysteries!
I am starting with "I Am Potential" because we have it and then I'm going to read "John Adams".
